Zero-knowledge proofs
A prover demonstrates that a transaction satisfies defined constraints without revealing the private witness. Circuit design and the proving system determine exactly which facts stay private.
There is power in what you don’t reveal.
A dedicated privacy application for Solana.
Designed to put that power back in your hands.
Verification shouldn’t require exposure.
We’re building a private space between your assets and everyone else’s attention.
A public ledger should not mean a public life. UMBRA explores a different relationship between verification and visibility.
Cryptographic assurance replaces unnecessary disclosure. The proposed architecture separates what the network must verify from what the world gets to see.
A cryptographic commitment represents a private note without publishing its underlying secret. Commitments can be organized in a Merkle tree so membership can later be proven.
A prover demonstrates that a transaction satisfies defined constraints without revealing the private witness. Circuit design and the proving system determine exactly which facts stay private.
Commitments bind private notes to the protocol state. A unique nullifier marks a note as spent, preventing double-spending without directly exposing the note’s secret.
The intended app keeps spending authority on the user’s device. Separate viewing permissions and optional disclosure can provide visibility when the owner chooses to share it.
Architecture direction, not a deployed or audited protocol. Final primitives, circuits, encryption schemes and security parameters will be documented before release.
Illustrative interface · private transfers are not yet available.
Not another tab to forget. A focused application designed to bring private balances, note management and transaction proofs into one deliberate, understandable experience.
Move the control to explore selective visibility. In the proposed application, viewing permissions would be cryptographically separate from spending authority.
A planned reward round every 60 seconds. Once funding and payouts are live, the full distributable fees collected during a round will go to one randomly selected eligible wallet. Connecting alone never spends your funds.
Register your Solana wallet with a message signature. The public leaderboard displays your wallet address. No transaction or token approval is requested.

Registration order does not improve winning odds. No prizes have been distributed through this site.
01 / Connect & verifyChoose a Solana wallet and sign a one-time registration message. Your private keys and seed phrase are never requested.
02 / Enter the participant poolVerified addresses appear in the shared list. Registration is per wallet; it is not proof of a unique person. Final eligibility rules are pending.
03 / A funded draw every minuteThe intended mechanism selects one eligible wallet per funded round. Public randomness, automated payouts and transaction receipts must be activated before live draws.
The standalone UMBRA app is in development. Downloads will become available here when the first release is ready.

UMBRA is a project developing a standalone application for private transactions on Solana. This site introduces the proposed architecture and supports wallet registration for the community rewards programme. The privacy app itself is not released.
No. Encryption protects data, while transaction privacy depends on the entire system: proof circuits, note structure, relayers, network metadata and user behaviour. Timing, amounts, deposits and withdrawals may still reveal correlations. UMBRA does not claim absolute anonymity.
The design direction is self-custody: spending keys remain under your control. A production release will need secure key storage, recovery guidance and a documented threat model. Never share your seed phrase with this site or anyone claiming to represent UMBRA.
The planned distribution sends the full distributable fee pool for each 60-second round to one randomly selected eligible wallet. The fee source, verifiable randomness and payout service are not connected yet. Registration is open, but there are currently no live draws or payouts.
The rewards leaderboard is public and separate from the proposed privacy application. By signing the registration message you consent to your public wallet address appearing in the participant list. Disconnecting your wallet does not remove a prior registration; use the Remove registration option while connected.
No completed audit has been provided. This site makes no audit or security certification claims. Before release, the implementation should undergo independent review and publish its scope, findings and remediation status.
